Red Bull Hardline is a downhill mountain bike race in mid Wales, and 2024 was its tenth year at the site. Red Bull asked for a measured footprint rather than an estimate, covering the categories the event could actually control.
Data was gathered directly from the people doing the work. Suppliers and staff were engaged directly, and the data they provided was checked and analysed by Pie Factory.
Working in a stunning and remote area brings challenges which Red Bull were exceptional at meeting, working cooperatively with stakeholders to help not only protect the nature but also ensure no trace was left behind.
The event was fully carbon tracked including logistics, waste, energy use, staff travel & accommodation and catering.
