About Pie Factory

We design, produce, measure and manage exhibitions, activations and travel retail. Most of it gets built by us, in our own workshop in west London.

What we do

Four things, one business: design, production, project management and sustainability. Not four suppliers for you to co-ordinate.

Trade show booths, exhibitions, brand activations, conferences, internal events, festival retail and travel retail. In the UK and Europe we build it ourselves. Everywhere else we deliver through our partner network.

Where we are

StudioThe Barley Mow Centre, 10 Barley Mow Passage, London W4 4PH.

WorkshopV10 Vector Park, Forest Road, Feltham, Middlesex TW13 7EJ. 2,866 square feet, running on on-site solar plus a 100 percent renewable tariff.

What's in it: modular stock in Aluvision, BeMatrix and Octanorm. A woodworking department. Audiovisual kit. Rental furniture. Spray and paint facilities. Our CAD studio.

The only thing we don't do ourselves is print. That goes to partners we've vetted, in the country your show is in, because printing near the venue beats shipping graphics across a continent.

Our certifications

You can check every one of these without asking us.

Certified B Corporation. B Impact Score 93.4. The certification threshold is 80. The median for an ordinary business is 50.9. We're Mission Locked, which means the commitment is written into our articles rather than being a policy we could quietly drop.

Our score breaks down as Governance 16.3, Workers 28.3, Community 30.1, Environment 15.7, Customers 2.8. Certified March 2025, standards version 1.6. We're on the B Lab register.

EcoVadis Gold. Score 82, which puts us in the 97th percentile. Your procurement team can pull that up themselves.

Science Based Targets initiative. Our target was approved in August 2025: cut absolute scope 1 and 2 emissions 58.8 percent by 2034 against a 2024 base year, and measure and reduce scope 3. Validated against SBTi Services' SME Criteria Assessment Indicators v1.0.

Our leadership team certified the event industry's first B Corporation.

We measure ourselves, and we still find things

Having an SBTi-approved target means someone else has checked that our reduction plan is consistent with keeping warming to 1.5 degrees. It is not a badge you can buy.

Between 2024 and 2025 we cut our own footprint from 50.19 to 29.6 tonnes CO2e. That's 41 percent in a single year.

Sustainability is the entire point of this business, and we still found 41 percent.

That's worth saying plainly, because it is how this actually works for everybody. You measure. You find something you didn't expect. You fix it. You measure again. Anyone who tells you they got it right first time either isn't measuring or isn't telling you.

It's also the reason we're useful to you. We are not doing anything to your events that we haven't already done to ourselves.

The team

Our founder and Managing Director has twenty-two years in the events and trade show industry.

Our Design Director has close to twenty years in event and retail design, including as a brand lead inside the global travel retail arm of one of the world's largest drinks groups.

Our Sustainability Director is a Chartered Environmentalist with close to fifteen years in sustainability and sustainable events. He owns our carbon methodology and he's the final word on any materials or credentials question here.

Our production lead has twenty-two years in the trade show industry.

Plus a team of account managers, project managers, creatives and even build specialists.

Our partner network

More than 120 partners across 27 cities and four continents. Every one has been interviewed and checked by our Sustainability Director against our own supplier requirements.

It's how we deliver outside the UK and Europe. It isn't our headcount, and we won't pretend it is.

Our materials register

203 materials, assessed by us rather than collected off a supplier's website.

Each entry records recycled content, whether it's actually natural, VOC status, whether embodied carbon has been calculated, what certification it holds, and what happens to it at end of life.

We keep the ones that fail, and why. Knowing what not to specify is worth as much as knowing what to.

What we measure and publish

Every factor we use carries a named source and a date, and it's cited on your report. Anyone qualified who picks up one of our reports can trace every figure back to where it came from.

We are experienced in delivering projects to ISO 20121 standard in-house, alongside other accredited event management systems.

If you need a number independently verified, we can arrange third-party verification on any project. Just ask.
